Founded in February 1992, the Lao Community Cultural Center of San Diego (LCCC) is a
nonprofit and all-volunteer organization dedicated to fostering unity among Lao Americans
and building bridges with the broader community through cultural exchange and education.
The center aims to create spaces where stories and heritage can thrive across generations
through vibrant initiatives that highlight the Lao language, arts, traditions, and cuisine.
Events, including the Lao New Year Festival and the Lao Boat Race Festival (LBRF), showcase
the beauty of the Lao identity by highlighting the strength and collective spirit within the
community.
Everyone is welcome to participate in preserving and promoting Lao culture through events
that celebrate the community and make connections. LCCC’s impact continues to grow
thanks to the generosity and involvement of volunteers and supporters. Contributions help
sustain programs that honor the past while investing in the next generation of Lao leaders.
Lei Lei currently serves on the Board of Directors and as the Volunteer Coordinator for both
the Lao New Year Festival and Lao Boat Race Festival, proudly continuing a second term of
service to uplift the community.
